• The Theatre program at Andrew offers an Associate鈥檚 degree, meaning students are involved in production from day one.聽The curriculum** is designed for transfer to four year programs within the University System of Georgia as well as programs outside of the state. Students can choose to focus their studies on performance or design and technology.

Production

The production season includes the:

• FALL MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION, which is entered in Region 4 of the聽Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF),providing students nominations to compete for scholarships and awards at Festival.
• HALLOWEEN HAUNTED HOUSE, which is the program鈥檚 interactive, original themed event, making use of the college and community lore.
• MURDER IN THE SQUARE, which is the program鈥檚 annual murder mystery dinner theatre, set in multiple locations on Cuthbert鈥檚 historic town square.
• SPRING MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION. This production has included town and community performances involving local students, musicals, and Shakespeare.

Theatre Student Activity

Opportunities for leadership and involvement include:

• Delta Psi Omega, National Two-Year College Theatre Honor Society

• Sophomore year travel to Georgia Theatre Conference
• Travel to KCACTF regional festival for students who earn nomination
• Service to the local community
