FEDERAL STUDENT AID

Federal Student Aid is money provided by the Federal Government to help students pay for college. To apply for Federal Student Aid, students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also referred to as the FAFSA.

Available Federal Financial Aid programs:

STATE AID for Georgia Residents

The state of Georgia provides several different programs to aid state residents with the cost of a college education.

Available programs for Georgia Residents:

  • Merit-based Zell Miller Scholarship for students attending a private college or university
  • Merit-based HOPE Scholarship for students attending a private college or university
  • Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG) for residents of Georgia attending a private college or university

Florida Prepaid College Plan

If you are a Florida resident, you may elect to use the funds in your Florida Prepaid College Plan account at 黑料网. Although the per credit hour charge at 黑料网 is not 鈥渓ocked in鈥 as with schools in Florida, you may still use the funds in your account on a dollar per dollar basis. However, they must be used as you have set up the designation within your account. Money in your Florida 529 Savings Plan may also be used at 黑料网.

Families wishing to apply funds from their Florida prepaid account to an out of state or private institution will need to complete this form and submit it to the Florida Prepaid College Plan at the address listed on the form:聽.

Institutional Scholarships

    • 黑料网 offers a variety of institutional scholarships. Financial assistance is based on merit, ability to contribute to the campus community, and verified financial need. All institutional scholarships are prorated over two semesters (fall and spring), unless otherwise specified. Part-time students and students enrolled in exclusively online programs are typically not eligible for institutional financial assistance.Eligible students:
      鈥 May qualify for scholarships offered by other entities, government or private, based upon need.
      鈥 Scholarship eligibility is determined during application and admission to 黑料网.
      鈥 Students may only receive one scholarship from each category (i.e.1 Category A + 1 Category B + 1 Category C).
      鈥 Most institutional scholarships are renewable for up to four years when a student meets the renewal requirements outlined for the specific award.
      鈥 Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
      鈥 Must apply for every entitlement grant for which they may qualify in order to receive an institutional scholarship.
      鈥 All institutional, federal, and state awards will be applied to a student鈥檚 tuition, fees and room and board.
      The amount of courtesy, merit, or athletic scholarships must not exceed the student鈥檚 tuition, fees, and room and board after the student has been credited with all other entitlement financial aid received.
      There are limited scholarships for International Students.

**Institutional scholarships will be reduced to prevent exceeding the full cost of attendance. Federal entitlement funding is excluded e.g., Pell Grant, VA Benefits.
