Scott Curry 鈥�98, was named one of聽Georgia Trend鈥檚聽鈥�40 Under 40.鈥� Scott serves as the president and chairman of the Board of First State Bank of Randolph County. He is also a Shellman City Council member and mayor pro-tem. Scott is married to the former Brandi Frizzell and the couple lives in Shellman with their daughters.

Penny Flowers Harper聽 鈥�81聽writes that she retired as a school principal from Muscogee County School District, Columbus, GA in 2014 after 30 years of service as an educator.聽 She was widowed shortly afterwards while working at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School as Gifted Education Coordinator. She also taught part-time at Columbus State University before joining GOSA, the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, to work on a literacy grant in Richmond County Schools (Augusta).聽 During this time, she reunited with her high school sweetheart, Tracy Harper, and they were married November 18, 2017.聽 They now live in Evans, GA (just outside of Augusta) where Tracy is fully retired and she is “easing into” full retirement by serving as part-time Elementary Guidance/Learning Support Coordinator at Augusta Christian Schools.聽 They are active members at Wesley UMC where Tracy spends every Tuesday serving on a local men’s mission team.聽 She writes that she has thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with so many friends on social media!

Kenneth Butler 鈥�82, writes, 鈥淗ow can it be that 36 years have passed since I graduated from 黑料网? My memories of this wonderful school, and the great times that I had as a student, are some of the most precious I have collected over the course of my lifetime. I have heard it said that each of us has two homes: one to which we are physically born, and the other that place and time when we realize (with absolute clarity) who we are, and who we were created to be. I found my 鈥榣ife path鈥� and steady footing at 黑料网, the true starting point for my onward journey. In all of my subsequent travels around the globe, I have yet to find a sweeter spot than the campus of 黑料网 鈥� 鈥榳here the spires of old Cuthbert pierce the Southern blue.鈥� As a career educator I know, very well, the tremendous importance of a sound education. After serving many years in the classroom, I am now retired and 鈥榣iving large.鈥� My wife and I have three children, ages 25, 20, and 7. It sure would be nice to hear from some A.C. classmates 1980-1983. God bless 黑料网!!

CDR Len Bunch 鈥�87补苍诲听Dr. LeAnn Bunch 鈥�86聽currently reside in Newport News, Virginia where Len is stationed on the USS Enterprise (CVN65). He is the reactor liaison officer supervising the decommissioning of the ship in the reactor department. He will celebrate his 30th year in the U.S. Navy in April. LeAnn recently graduated from Liberty University with her Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction. She works part time for University of Virginia as a research specialist and owns L & L Educational Solutions, providing writing and editing support for graduate students in area universities. They have three聽adult children and three grandchildren. Their three fur babies and multiple salt water aquariums are their hobbies.

Randy Braswell 鈥�78, writes that he married his college sweetheart and fellow 1978 Andrew graduate Claire Waldhour Braswell back in 1984.They have four children: Sarah is completing a Master鈥檚 Degree in Molecular Biology at Georgia Southern; Luke is a Southern Baptist pastor in Millen, GA; Anna graduated from SCAD in June 2017 and is doing an internship with MGM in Los Angeles; and Mary Esther graduated from Duke with a Masters in Medical Physics in May 2017. They have one grandchild, Eli, through their son Luke and his wife Brianne. Randy retired from South Georgia State College in 2014, and Claire is teaching first grade at Broxton Elementary.

Christine Roinestad Anger聽鈥�78,听is married to husband, Thomas, and has two sons, Lucas, 23 and Jens 20. She teaches English classes at聽the local VHS (community college of sorts), and is president of the local Landfrauen聽Club (land women鈥檚 association). Christine grew up on a farm outside of Cuthbert, but has been living in Germany for almost 30 years.She first worked in the U.S. Army hospital in Cannstatt/Stuttgart as the Blood Bank聽supervisor until it closed in June 1992.

Rev. Ivan G. Corbin, ’79, recently retired at the June Annual Conference of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.聽 Ivan served as a full-time local pastor for the last 38 years and 2 years as a student pastor before that.聽 Ivan is now the part-time Minister of Visitation for First United Methodist Church of Lakeland, FL.聽 He is also still President of the Historical Society of The United Methodist Church as well as Chairperson of the Commission on Archives and History for the Florida Annual Conference.聽 He and his wife Debbie hope to make time for travel and visiting their four grandchildren and their families more frequently.

Larry Dixon聽鈥�62听has been retired for 5 years after serving adults with developmental disabilities in the聽states of Florida, Connecticut, and Georgiafor over 30 years. He and his wife, Leah Ann, also聽retired, are enjoying their life together. Trips to Florida are frequent to enjoy聽and spoil their 2-year-old grandchild, Mikey, who lives with his parents in Orange Park. Larry continues serving by being an adult Bible study class teacher in his church, a small group Bible Study, and a Stephen Minister.

Robert 鈥淏ob鈥� Flaige 鈥�65, writes that after graduation, he transferred to FSU 鈥�65, joined the US Army聽 in 1966 and served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968聽 He says that he probably became the only post-graduate Andrew student as President George Gambill allowed him to re-enroll for a quarter in January 1969. He returned to FSU and having used all of his GI bill graduated in 1971. He became employed by the Florida Division of Youth Services and served in many capacities from probation officer to investigator for District and Office of the Inspector General for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. He joined the Florida Army National Guard, 111th Attack Helicopter Battalion in 1975 and retired in 1993 and then retired from Juvenile Justice in 2001.
